The core of my research was transformation through death and rebirth, the eternal cycles embodied in the Andean Cross (Chakana) — a cosmic structure connecting three worlds:
• Ukhu Pacha — the underworld of the serpent,
• Kay Pacha — the middle world of the puma,
• Hanan Pacha — the upper world of the condor.
In Andean cosmology, time is not linear but woven — past, present, and future co-exist within the same sacred fabric of pacha (world–time). The Chakana is both a map and a loom — a portal of becoming.
In my work, I reimagined the middle world (Kay Pacha) — traditionally represented by the Puma, symbol of human presence — as a trinity of feminine forces. These became the Three Sisters: Ichtel (Water), Pachamama (Earth), and Coatlicue (Fire).
Together they echo the ancient archetype of the Weavers of Time — guardians of birth, death, and rebirth — weaving the threads of transformation between worlds.
This piece became the seed of my later project “Three Sisters”, exploring the dialogue between Mesoamerican goddesses and Andean cosmology, between cycles of nature and the feminine principle of creation.

'Those of us who choose to live in the jungle, contrary to what some might want to think, represent—at least in my view—the growth of a person in adapting and embracing the freedom of another (like that of cockroaches), where we learn that we cannot control everything and instead must join the dance of life, in convergence. Only those who understand this may perhaps return to the concrete jungle in greater harmony.'
