The last of the four elements festivals: Earth, Water, Fire and Air. The children had an amazing time at this event and loved making origami and kites using collected materials. A circus act came from Moyobamba ‘Asociación Cultural Mayoruna’ which is a group of young clowns, dancers and musicians, an inspiration for the children of San Roque. There was a womens volleyball competition and the finalists , San Roque - vs - Tarapoto. Tarapoto won 26/25 - 26/15 a good incentive for the group from San Roque to try harder next time.

A really nice day which began with the school of San Roque collecting rubbish around the village, then in the afternoon a small group of children and adults spent some peaceful time making artwork with collected materials, earth and stones, by the river. We all thought about the element water and gave thanks to it. It was a really sweet day!
