Chumbe weaving in Chiricyacu

Itinerary

1 Day

7 am - walk to native community Chunchiwi.
9 am - workshop chumbe weaving - women's association.
12 pm - traditional lunch included in the price.
1 pm - walk back to San Roque
3 pm - arrive

Don Angel will be your guide. Don Angel is friendly and kind. He has a great relationship with the Chiricyacu community. This could be a great opportunity to venture into a native community and practise your Spanish.

A translator will cost extra or Trina Brammah can take you to the home of Petrona. Petrona can also chumbe weave.
